Love at first sight!
My patients are so happy to see a familiar face in the cold and hostile operating room. Usually nobody introduces themselves in France (and never with his/her first name) so what a pleasure to read the name and role on the cap.
The second reason for me to choose such a cap is ecological : the single use cap is going to fill our trash and at the end of the operating day, what a shame to discover all that waste.
The third reason is for my colleagues in case of new people which happens every week : new nurses, new coordinators, new administration guys...each one should know what is his/her mission in the room.

En général avant d’arriver au bloc un patient voit une multitude de personnes qui ne se présentent pas et surtout en France qui ne donnent pas leur prénom.
Quel plaisir donc de voir quelqu’un avec son nom sur son chapeau!
La deuxième raison pour porter un calot est écologique : les déchets en fin de journée opératoire sont vraiment un gâchis honteux. Il faut donc tout faire pour limiter notamment les calots à usage unique.
La troisième raison est la connaissance des noms et du rôle de chacun dans un bloc opératoire car en effet, il y a beaucoup de nouvelles personnes chaque semaine que ce soit des infirmiers, des cadres ou des
