How much money does your hospital spend on disposable scrub hats every year?

Dr J Broadbent from New Zealand:

‘I looked at the number of hats that were purchased over a 12 month period. This came to >93,000 hats per year at a cost of NZ$14,600 (AUD 13,410). We have 15 theatres and 430 staff members’

TheatreCaps offers reductions for bulk orders (see here).

If we were to provide each of the 430 staff members with 5 caps each within less than 2 years the hospital will be saving money year on year going forward.

Further they'll reduce unnecessary waste and provide a better environment for communication, team work and ultimately patient care.
