The air we share is of vital importance to our wellbeing and our future.

We gifted one of our workplace apprentices Lucy with a Mini CO2 analyser which she put in her school bag. Unfortunately we hadn't told her how to turn the alarm off if it beeps (beeps twice over CO2 1000ppm, beeps continuously over 1500ppm).

The monitor started alarming in her classroom. At first she wasn't sure what the noise was and was a bit embarrassed that she couldn't turn the alarm off.

Her teacher however sprung into action - on realising what the alarm was for he simply opened the windows in the classroom and the alarm soon stopped as the CO2 level came back down again.

Opening the windows and doors is a great way to improve ventilation in rooms and reducing CO2 levels. More fresh air.

As far as turning the alarm off goes - the quickest way is to press the power button twice in quick succession.

We're very happy that Lucy's classroom will be better ventilated in the future. Nice one.
